The paths are mostly well-maintained, but watch out for some rocky sections. It's ideal to adopt a steady pace and use your hiking poles for optimal stability.
As you ascend, you'll reach Har Shokek, the highest point, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. It is an amazing area to exercise your passion while enjoying the scenery. The average ascent will be around 1 meter per kilometer, and you'll cover a total distance of approximately 34 kilometers. The route has a total ascension of around 464 meters, and a descent of roughly 462 meters.
Further on, as you continue, you'll descend to the vicinity of the Cross Israel Highway. The trails here are a bit more technical, requiring you to maintain a low center of gravity and carefully choose your steps. Here, the experience of your favorite sport, combined with the views and unique culture of the land, is truly rewarding. You'll be doing this at a speed of about 8.8 km/h, with a maximum speed of around 40 km/h.
