Get ready for an epic cycling adventure! We start at Place de la Résistance in Quimper, near the charming Locmaria district. The journey begins with easy pedaling, setting the stage for a day of discovery. The route then leads you through varied terrains, transitioning to slightly undulating paths, perfect to warm up before the main challenge.
As you cycle, you'll encounter some moderate climbs, but nothing too strenuous. The terrain gradually changes from smooth roads to some sections of light gravel. Remember to maintain a good posture to absorb any bumps on the road!
The highlight of the route is the ascent to Petit Kermarzin, near Edern. This is where you'll reach the highest point of the ride. Here, the ascension peaks at roughly 191 meters. The desnivel acumulado is approximately 188 meters, and the total distance is about 67 km. You’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside. A bit later, the route descends, passing near the Pont Sainte-Catherine, close to the beginning point, where the altitude drops to near sea level.
