Embark on a refreshing hiking journey starting from HaShiryon in Ness Ziona, traversing diverse terrains to reach your endpoint at HaTayasim, also in Ness Ziona. This route will take you through varied landscapes, including potentially rocky paths and smoother trails, offering a moderate physical challenge. As you ascend towards the Gan Le’ummi Kurkar Nes Tsiyyona, you'll experience the highest point of your hike, enjoying panoramic views of the surrounding Rehoboth region. The terrain here is characterized by the distinctive kurkar hills, providing a unique hiking environment.
You'll navigate through areas that may include natural reserves like the Gan Le’ummi Naẖal Soreq, where the landscape can shift from open fields to more rugged paths. The lowest elevation point will likely be near the Nahal Sorek area, offering a different perspective of the valley. Throughout your approximately 25-kilometer trek, expect an average pace of about 8 minutes per kilometer, with an accumulated elevation gain of roughly 60 meters. The total time for the activity, including stops, will be around 3 to 4 hours.
