BTT Montagut to Camí de Can Surós to Montagut
This BTT route begins in Montagut, a charming village in the Garrotxa region, perfect to start your adventure. From here, you'll pedal towards the max elevation, the Camí de Can Surós, near Besalú, known for its panoramic views. Prepare for challenging climbs and rewarding descents. As you descend, you will reach the min elevation near Maià de Montcal, with a more relaxed terrain. This loop is about 55 km, with an accumulated elevation gain of nearly 705 meters.
The route combines varied terrains, from smoother paths to some rocky sections and some steep slopes. Remember to maintain a correct posture on your bike and to use your gears efficiently.
At the start, you'll enjoy the fresh mountain air and the anticipation of the ride. At the Camí de Can Surós, at the maximum altitude, you will feel the satisfaction of the climb, rewarded by stunning views. Finally, towards Maià de Montcal, the more relaxed terrain will allow you to enjoy the surrounding nature.
