BTT in Mitzpe Ramon: Start & End
Embark on an exhilarating BTT adventure, starting and finishing in Mitzpe Ramon, a town in the heart of the Negev Desert.
You'll begin your ride, taking in the unique desert landscapes. The terrain will challenge you with a mix of rocky trails and smoother paths. Expect some moderate climbs to get you warmed up. Remember to maintain a good posture and use your gears wisely.
As you cycle, you'll reach the highest point near Maale Ramon, with its sweeping views. Here, you'll likely feel the thrill of the descent. Around this point you'll be riding through trails that reach a maximum altitude of approximately 900 meters. The desert air and panoramic vistas make this part of the ride special.
You'll then descend to a lower altitude of approximately 790 meters. Your ride will cover roughly 29 kilometers, with an ascent of about 309 meters and a descent of around 303 meters. This course offers an average speed of approximately 16 km/h.
Along the way, you'll see places of interest, with a moderate average ascent of approximately 0.37 meters per minute, allowing you to enjoy the changing scenery.
