Threshfield, Malham Moor & Flasby with Winterburn Vélo électrique Adventure

For this Electric Bike Activity, you'll experience a fantastic journey.

Starting near Threshfield, at the Wharfedale Caravan Club Site, you'll find yourself pedaling through a landscape that gently awakens your senses. The terrain here is mainly smooth, perfect for warming up and enjoying the initial ease. Remember to maintain a good posture to absorb the small bumps and conserve energy. Enjoy the views!

Next, you'll head towards Malham Moor. The path becomes more challenging, with ascents that test your endurance. As you climb Henside Road, the effort is well worth it. You'll be rewarded with stunning vistas; breathe deeply, and use short, controlled strokes on the pedals.

After your adventure in the moor, you will head to Flasby with Winterburn. You'll soon be descending. Keep your weight low, your eyes ahead, and your brakes under control. This is where the real fun begins!

You will pass through Malham Moor again, the area will offer new challenges and incredible views.

You'll accumulate a total elevation gain of approximately 300 meters and a descent of almost the same height. The ride took approximately 4 hours and 30 minutes, with a moving time of around 3.5 hours. The average speed was about 13 km/h, but you reached a maximum speed of over 54 km/h!
